Unified CSI Chain of Custody (CoC) Version 2.7

Unified Chain of Custody Standard, V2.7 October 2026: (i) reflects administrative changes to documents to reflect new certification scheme Community Catch (CC) full sharing of standards and procedures as a Participating Scheme Owner; (ii) additional guidance on handling of critical non-conformances found at individual sites during audits of multi-site organizations; (iii) providing opportunity for remote audits in certain circumstances or low risk/strong performance to facilitate efficiency; and (iv) minor editorial changes to streamline language and format.

Current Chain of Custody client certifications will remain valid through their next scheduled audit.

Unpackaged POS (UPOS) Module for Unified CSI CoC Version 1.1

Unpacked at Point of Sales (UPOS) Module for Unified Chain of Custody v1.1 October 2026. This UPOS Module V1.1 establishes the sharing of the module by Participating Scheme Owners and adds Community Catch as a Participating Scheme Owner. V1.1 of the UPOS Module has not changed significantly from V1.0 September 2025. This UPOS Module will be used in supply chains and by point-of-sale organizations that are selling seafood from certified fisheries of Participating Scheme Owner programs. This module contains mandatory requirements for UPOS Organizations seeking Unified Chain of Custody Standard certification based on V2.7/UPOS.
