Our Chain of Custody certification tells the story of where your seafood comes from, so that it’s traceable through the supply chain back to its harvest origin. We’re the only certification program that provide the ability to include harvest origin on its logo.
RFM Logo CSI Logo
For consistency in the market, CSI has adopted the look and color scheme of the RFM program logo.
ORIGIN LOGOS are customized to include origin. As new fisheries achieve CSI Certification, we will develop an origin logo for each fishery’s harvest origin.
NON-ORGIN LOGOS are typically utilized by CSI when communicating about the CSI Certification program. CSI CoC clients that choose not to include harvest origin on logo may use one of these non-origin CSI logo versions. The logo with the CSI letters only may also be most appropriate for use on small packages where is will be more visible than the full text. We highly encourage including origin when practical.
RFM clients who utilize the RFM logo will be free to use up existing RFM labels in stock. We’ll provide logo artwork and specifications for CSI logo usage for new label orders.
The CSI logo is available for those who satisfy the Chain of Custody requirements, and would like to demonstrate traceability and make a certification claim. The CSI logo is only released to organizations or individuals that have completed the Chain of Custody audit process and have a written agreement with CSI. Unauthorized use is prohibited and will be treated as a trademark breach.
The purpose of the certification logo is to demonstrate to buyers and consumers of that those seafood products originate from certified responsible fisheries.
