Program Owner
The CSI Program is owned by Certified Seafood International, Inc. which is incorporated in the U.S. of Delaware and is applying for non-profit 501(c) status. Certified Seafood International, Inc. is led by a global multistakeholder Board of Directors. The Board of Directors has established various committees, including Standards Committees, to ensure Program effectiveness. The day-to-day running of the Program is undertaken by the CSI Team who manage the operations of the Program under the direction of the Board of Directors and in partnership with the Program’s committees.
CSI Board of Directors
Certified Seafood International, Inc. is led by a global multistakeholder Board of Directors. The Board has adopted bylaws that define the functions and powers of the Board and other aspects of Program governance. It has also created committees, including Standard Committees, to ensure Program effectiveness.
CSI Standards Committees
Two Standards Committees have been created by the Board of Directors to make important policy and work product recommendations to the CSI Board in relation to the two standards that the Program maintains. The two Standards Committees are:
The Fisheries Standard Committee (FSC) is appointed by the CSI Board and oversees the ongoing review and development of the Fisheries Standard.
The Unified Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is a joint committee of CSI and Icelandic Responsible Fisheries Foundation (IRFF), which develops and maintains an ongoing review of the Unified CSI Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard.

Program of Works
Every six months, a Program of Work is developed and published to reflect the forthcoming priority activities. These are developed and agreed by the CSI Board and Committees.
